Oppo BDP 103 & Apple TV & Mac

Can I plug a Mac into the Oppo BDP 103 hdmi input and access the mac on my LG PF1500 projector which only has 2 hdmi inputs?

Also, is it worthwhile using the Oppo hdmi input instead for the the Apple TV4 for video processing? Would I get 24p playback on my Apple TV?

If I did this would I lose any of the ability to turn on and off the projector with the Apple TV4 controller?

I've been offered a year old BDP -103 for 250 from a friend who is going to by the new 4K one.

Thanks for any advice.
