just picked up a used 3,1 with 2x OPTIARC DVD RW AD-7170A both on firmware 1.
What does the firmware get me?
I'll be running Mavs on the 3,1 in order to utilize ProTools 10HDn.
Also, the MP was caked with dust. caked !.
Is there any reason I should take the optos out and vacuum inside them or ....?
