Hi,

Just wondering, but now that I have put my hard drive to my cd drive, is there anything I can use to turn my cd optical drive into a useable one? I want to install windows as bootcamp.

It seems to me that you would use something like this:

I'm not sure if you need something special for the Apple drives since they're slot-loading. I think that should work.

can anyone confirm that this will work with the macbook pro mid 2009 cd drives?

There are no drivers needed. This is just an enclosure. The drive will just pop up in Finder. The specifications even clearly say it will work with Mac OS X 10.x.x
