I will be installing a SSD and moving my 750HDD into an optibay in my 13" MBP along with adding a total of 16GB of RAM. I'm concerned that having 2 drives in there plus the additional RAM will generate a hot of extra heat. Is this a valid concern....and if so,in is there a way to selectively put the HDD in the optibay into sleep mode?

I may just opt for a HDD enclosure for the 750hdd but would like to have it in the machine.

It doesn't generate that much more heat. SSDs operate very cool. Don't be worried.
