More troubles with my new MBP and the optibay HDD i installed.

Everytime I shutdown now and startup again – I lose the 2nd HDD... It wont mount.

I can see it in Disk Utility – But its no where to be found in Finder.

I cannot repair or verify the disk – I get an error in Disk Utility
Invalid B-tree node size

Any ideas?

How do you get it back?
Like, working normally?
Are you using a "real" optibay?
Or is it a cheaper version?
If so it might just be the adapter itself.

Erase it and poasrtition it again
:(
All good, i can read/write.
But then I shutdown, and lose it again.

Edit - Im using a Data Doubler.
Im not sure its the problem.. As I can use the drive.. Its onlt when it shuts down.

Can you try switching your HDDs, and then starting up from your main HDD in the optibay using the option key at startup?
Then, if that works, can you format/repair the drive when it's plugged into the main slot?
If your main drive does not work in the Optibay then it's probably that, and if it does, then the problem is probably the optibay drive itself.
