Wanted to double check this. Anywhere to find that info?

Orlandoech macrumors 68040 Jun 2, 2011 3,341 888 Aug 31, 2012 #2 You can find it in SYSTEM INFORMATION under Serial-ATA. and yes the 2011 Models only have SATAII (3.0GB/s) in the Optibay. I highly recommend installing the SSD in the main HDD bay which is SATA III (6.0 GB/s) and installing the factory/stock HDD in the Optibay.
