Hello everyone,

After reading about SSD's the past few months I've decide to take the plunge and purchase one for my 15" MacBook Pro 2010. I've also read a little about using an Optibay in place of the SuperDrive for extra storage. I found the Optibay below on eBay and was wondering if its okay to purchase from eBay or if I should be looking else where?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2nd-HDD-SSD-C...closures_RL&hash=item2a0adc718a#ht_4635wt_907

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

Cheers! :)

Thank you very much for replying! That's brilliant news! I'll order one right away!

Thanks again!

that one has surfaced a couple times :p
never found out how it fits in regard to screws and stuff

Thats exactly what I figured, the price tag is small so its worth chancing it! I've ordered it, £11.45 plus shipping (which will take 2-3 weeks)! I'll report back on the Optibay once its arrived!

Cheers! :)

psh
+ shipping
+tax
= 30£

Fair enough, I guess. When I looked at the listing is showed a free shipping to my location and I did not specifically check if that would be different for Denmark. And I am, unfortunately, unfamiliar with the tax laws there; here there would be no tax on ordering/receiving the device.
