I have the OWC doubler kit. My DVD bay has a 500G/7200 and the primary has a OWC Mercury Pro Extreme 120G SSD. It works great. The replacement bracket is well made and easy to mount. I looked at the Optibay but it didn't seem to be as well made.
capt: is the installation easy and does it not take to long to remove the superdrive, and how would i be if Im getting the 128gb ssd on the upper mbp and put a 750 7200 in the optical drive?

The installation for the 'primary' HD slot wasn't hard at all. The removal of the optical drive is fairly easy (OCW includes instructions) but some care is needed around the wireless connections.
Some people were having problems with the SSD as the boot drive in the optical slot (I couldn't find the forum post). Also, there was some discussion about OCW firmware issues (I didn't have any problem). See thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1057025/
