I have an iMac G5 that's having some issues with the CD drive.

When I hit the eject button on the keyboard, I always get a message that says "the disk is in use and cannot be ejected". But I'm not using the disk and there are no applications open. It won't eject unless I restart and hold down the mouse button. It does this EVERY time!

????

Has anyone here ever encountered this problem? I don't want to live a life where I have to restart my computer every time I need to eject a disk.

thanks
