I switched out my optical drive for a secondary SSD in my late 09 i7 iMac, and Im starting to get high rpm's on the optical bay fan, around 3500. I tried a tool called SSD fan control, but it didnt do anything. When I swapped the optical drive for the SSD, I left the sensor cable connected, and I placed it on the SSD. Is there anything else I can do to get the fan back to normal speed?
