ok so I'm ripping some cds in itunes then i put one in and it just takes a while and gets spit back out not recognized by the computer then I thought ok that one was kinda scratched maybe its just ruined so I tried a new flaming lips cd and it spit it out again and has done this with about 3 or 4 cds but the rest load in and rip with no problem....whats wrong?

this probably doesnt make any difference but it has a super drive opposed to a combo drive

Are the CDs good quality ones?

And when you say the rest do rip OK what do you mean? You can burn music CD in other CD brand?

They're probably copy protected.

I could rant about how that makes them not actually CD's anymore, and that you should take them back and demand a refund for deceptive sales practices .... but thats not going to help you any.

I just ripped them by ripping them to 192kb/s mp3 im wmp then transfering them to my mac then converting to aac ( to save space) why did wmp recognize them and rip them when my macbook wouldn't even read them and just spit them out?
