Hi,

I have a MBP 13 2010 with SSD Crucial m4 256gb and I want to replace my optical drive with an HDD of 1TB. I will need an external case for the superdrive, because I still need it for dvds and cds. If it's possible and better than connected with USB, I would prefer to use the Firewire port (that I have never used) for the superdrive. Would it be faster than USB ? Or it doesn't change anything ?

Also, what kind of optical bay do I need for the new HDD (this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...es+-+Notebooks+/+Laptops-_-SAMSUNG-_-22152291) ?

What do you think ?

Thank you very much for your help.

Is there an external case with firewire that would fit the superdrive?
