Hello,
I've had my MacBook Pro for a while and have several issues with it. I had the display, Airport Card, trackpad clicker and top casing replaced. I am now having issues with the optical drive. If I insert a movie DVD it makes some sounds and ejects the DVD. It sometimes takes 15 tries to actually get the computer to read the DVD (and this is after a restart and a PRAM reset). This is not the case with all DVDs but happens randomly.

I'm frankly sick of all the repairs and problems this computer is having and I'm wondering if it qualifies for a replacement.

The computer is covered under AppleCare.

Yes. You can demand a replacement after three unrelated failures.

Call AppleCare.
