Hello all,

i have an oldish macbook pro, and after a while changing internal HD ram, etc...

well sudenly the optical drive just won't work,

no idea if its my fault for having opened it a few too many times or not...but here we are:)

I found a way to reinstall os x via usb "i think atleast"
http://liveslick.com/2007/12/28/install-leopard-with-an-external-hard-drive/

im pretty sure it sound so Ill give it a go in a while!

I was wondering, how on earth can I install xp via bootcamp in the same method?

can i use the same method used in the link i posted?
honestly i wouldn't think so as for deep rooted reason my geekness tells me "it just wont work"

mind you i have a macmini on the side doing my dirty work atm!!
creating the usb leopard install

Is there any way i can use the macmini to my advantage??
network install or something like that??

any help is apreciated

kind regards
