Still only available on the 6s Plus.

You could have answered that yourself in less time than it took to post this thread, but it's still exclusive to the Plus.

Are you sure ? from what i read on apple's website, the iphone 6s has optical image stabilizaion now as well. where did you read or how do you know its exslusive to the iphone 6s PLUS?

so now that i know the iphone 6S doesnt have Optical image stabilization, what are the improvments in the camera of the iPhone 6S(NOT 6S PLUS) other than the 12MP vs 8MP compared to the camera in last year's iphone 6?

Do you mean aside from 4K video and Live Photos?

The 12MP is not just for 12MP, it's a new sensor so it contains newer technology in it. Apple mentioned improvements in how pixels absorb overlapping light for clearer pictures. Other than that, the pixels were decreased in size to 1.22um from 1.5um (at least not 1.12um like all other flagships) and the aperture stayed at f/2.2 (hasn't changed since the iPhone 5s).

They also mention improved noise reduction. I do hope so because currently they overcompensate and leave a Monet Watercolors effect on some pics.
