Optical Out to line-in on iMac 2011?

I have a wireless gaming headset that I want to use to chat on my mac. It has an optical out port on the back of the receiver. What kind of adapter would I need to go from optical out to line-in?

That depends on what the output is. The cable type is called a mini-toslink plug (1/8") on the Mac side. Search for mini-toslink at your favorite source (like Amazon, for example) and match the other end to the pictures.
