Hello, I have a Macbook Pro 17 and working on a prototype for a video podcast (for work). I am using Adobe After Effects, Premiere and Soundbooth but I am very inexperienced with sound. I have searched around this forum to gain some knowledge. I realize that microphone is the best way to improve actual sound quality and limiting background noise and echoing is essential as it's best to get it right than trying to fix problems with software. But I still have load of questions.
- What are the settings in Adobe Soundbooth is optimal for recording voice? (sample rate and other input settings)
- What microphone should I get? It seems like people favors AT2020 Let me know if otherwise.
- Which vocal booth do you recommend? EditorsKeys or RealTraps or something else?
- Are there any other important equipments I should consider?
- Any recommendation for video + sound converter/encoder to h 264 in mkv/mp4/avi/mov
- Optimal settings for compressing sound with video while maintaining high quality?
