Optimizing Illustrator CS5

Hi folks,

I have just been toying around with perspective drawing in Illustrator CS5, and it's all good and a lot of fun. But it seems to me that Illustrator is only running of one core - could this be true? Are there any optimizations I could do to make it run faster / smoother?

Yes. Ask Adobe to rewrite Illustrator for multiple core computers. And while you are at it, ask them to make it 64 bit. Let us know how it goes.
