not urgent, but wondering if anyone else is seeing this with the 13.4 beta install.... or has ever seen it? only showed up on my mini (not my air), and ran for a few minutes. just curious...

interesting. first time (on either intel or my now-silicon macs) that i've seen it. anyway, guess it happens when the install needs it to happen. thx
I believe it is mostly reindexing for Spotlight. And if you have lots of photos that can take longer than it used to now that Spotlight indexes photo content.
interesting, as i've never seen that message before. and no photos on my mac mini (just logic files mostly, and audio). anyway, not so mysterious! thanx ppl
I saw it for the first time ever on my MSU after doing the 13.3 update. It didn't appear on my M1 MBA.
