Hi, i have an iMac late 2009 and recently i installed yosemite. Clean install.
I have a problem with the bluetooth keyboard. Although the option key works (i can boot with option pressed), inside the Yosemite it doesnt.
I opened the keyboard viewer and when i press option key it shows the extra chars only a few are "enabled" (they show them in orange background). When i try to enter the euro symbol (option + shift + 2) it doesn't work or when i try to see the source of a website (option + cmd + U).

I tried to do a NVRAM reset (option + cmd + p + r) with no luck.

Is there anything else i can do?

Apple keyboard, or some other brand?
Try eliminating the keyboard using Bluetooth System Prefs, and then re-adding. Remove is in the contextual menu that pops up when you right click on a listed bluetooth device.
By default, the Bluetooth setup assistant should start up when you reboot with no paired or attached keyboard.
