My iPhone was jailbroken and a GIF-type image was placed remotely on my part of the message thread. It was square, a little bigger than an app icon and the x to delete it was still in the upper right hand corner, even after I apparently sent it. No one has been able to explain this, thus far. Thanks so much for your thoughts.
