Are there any options of utilizing the current lcd flat tv's for full time monitor use in lieu of the cinema displays? I have a current power mac and have the capability to wall mount the tv(desk area is 3' deep). It has been a very long time since apple added anything new to the cinema display options. I have used a dual monitor set up for years and would like to use only one screen and if I could get a functional setup with 40"=/-.................... I know the screen resolution of apples cinema displays are awesome and for my type of work i need to maintain that type of display.

Computer monitors are cheaper and higher resolution. TVs are lower quality and resolution, but larger screen size.
Only connect your computer to a television if you plan on staying a distance away from it. The resolution is so low that you can't see the entire screen if you are less than 3 feet (1 meter) away
