So I arrived in London today w/ my blacksn0w'd iphone from the US. I did test my SIM before leaving and it worked fine, 3g in NYC was good w/ the Orange SIM. But now that I'm here in the UK, I can only get GPRS, not even edge and definitely haven't seen 3G. I have "orangeinternet" set as my APN. Anyone know why I can't get 3g?

Thanks!

Are you sure you have a 3G Orange Sim card? It might be a 2g sim, in which case you won't get any 3G. If it's a Pay As You Go card, give Orange a call, and they can tell you which type it is. Your APN settings are correct. Good luck!

It was getting 3g in New York so I assume it is a 3g SIM. Or am I assuming something that could possibly be wrong? LOL. I suppose I will try to find an Orange shop tomorrow. I did try to call customer service and 3 times it was busy. Once I finally got through, the lady told me to call back later because the system was down. Nice.
