Hi.

Just purchased an Airport Express and am getting the amber flashing light. I don't understand why it is doing this as I have internet and its all connected up right. Its connected to a BT Hub via ethernet. Any ideas? I've gond through the setup assistance but I can only get to the scan page and can't get any further.

Thanks

Paul

Reset it using the little paperclip-sized button and try again. You should detect it with the set-up assistant, assuming you have your wireless turned on.

Yes the wireless is all working. Tried the reset button but no joy. Do I reset it whilst its plugged in. The airpor setup assistant will only let me go so far and thats it.

Yes, while it's plugged in, hold down the reset for about 10 seconds. The light will flash. You should then pick it up in the setup as a new network. Otherwise, it's maybe a duff.

Thanks I'll give that a go.
