Orange Iphone 3gs

Hello,

I have recently acquired an orange iphone 3gs....person i got it from claims she bought it that way from new. I don't recall seeing any other colors aside from the standard black and white with the exception of buying different parts off ebay to change the case.

i googled around a bit and didn't find anything factual.

Anyone here know if there was an orange at some point?

She lied about buying it new, but most likely she was duped as well. The iPhone has only ever been silver (aluminum), black, and white. They bought a new back from a third-party vendor: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=iphone+3gs+back+housing

No that is an UNOFFICIAL mod iPhone was never sold in that color

Thanks, I was pretty sure it was modded otherwise i'm sure lot's of people would have them.

I don't care that its orange I just wanted to back up my suspicions.
