I know there are already lots of posts about wireless cards for old iMacs, but I was wondering if this orangeware driver changed things up.

I'm trying to get a wireless card for my old Airport Original compatible 700 MHz G4 iMac. Other posts mention that only cards with a broadcom chipset would work instead of the airport original card, and only certain older cards had the broadcom chipset, but apparently this orangeware driver solves that problem: http://www.orangeware.com/endusers/wirelessformac.html

Has anyone tried this? Does this mean any PCI card with an atheros chipset would work? would there be problems with the chip fitting inside the imac? thanks for reading!

How are you going to put a PCI card in an iMac?
