Install ORB on your computer.

Go to mycast.orb.com on your iPhone, and I think you might have to change the output file type (not sure to what though) and then pick what music/video you want to view and a pop-up player comes out w/ your media.

It's not supported right now. The stream format selection page has no save button, so you can't actually set the stream to 3GP like it needs to be.

How could it not be supported? the touch has the same safari browser which is all is required.

well if anyone is able to figure it out could you send me a private message?

You have to wait for Orb to add support for the iPod. Same thing happened for the iPhone. It may be a few weeks, given that I posted about this a few days ago and have yet to see a single response from them.

Yea I asked them the other day before the touch had been released, they said that it should work the same as the iPhone, which theoretically it should and I don't see why it doesnt

Gloss,

What kind of experience are you getting with the ORB service?

Is it feasible to use with a Mac running Parallels and WinXP?

-joedy

I haven't tried, personally. It wouldn't work for me because my Macbook's media is stored on a Firewire drive, and Parallels doesn't see it. But I don't see any reason it wouldn't work otherwise. Orb is free and doesn't take all that long to set up, so it's worth trying.
