It doesn't matter. It will take about the same amount of time either way and Apple will support the hardware while AT&T supports the service.

I have AT&T Premier and the order says 7 days...vs the 12 days at Apple.

I ordered from AT&T on the 29th through premier and it shipped on the first.

I ordered from att on the 29th and my card was charged but my phone has not shipped.

You should order from the one that will get you your phone fastest, which, at this point, seems to be AT&T.
