I just placed 3 orders for Apple store pickup at the same time window tomorrow. I have not made up my mind between 17 pro, pro max and air. When placing orders I chose the option to “replace my current Tmobile phone”. Does this mean Apple would prepare 3 phones with my carrier info programmed in? At the time of pickup can I just pick one up and cancel the other two on the spot?

I did 2 orders - ISPU and delivery in the event one is messed up like last year.

Both are trade ins but keeping only one.

Returning the one I don't want.

Neither will be "pre programmed" - you do the setup yourself.

Today both orders are going to be here so I have to decide which one to keep - 512GB or 256GB....

They are on display, so why cost others (the company) money needlessly, without consideration, which you seem to lack.

You guys are making solid contributions to Apple's white box replacement inventory for customers who will need replacements later on.

👍

That ties up phones others might want. Please only order the number of phones that you intend to keep.
There was one MacRumors member who had opened about 10 boxes in store before Apple employees stopped him. This was during Scuffgate with the iPhone 5 and they couldn't find a phone (they said) that wasn't 'scuffed' in the box, or didn't have a yellow screen.

Insane.

Man I can’t imagine having enough disposable income to order multiple phones in one go, even knowing I’d be returning all but one 😂 you do you. I wouldn’t want to because I know how exciting getting a launch day phone is (it’s the little things) and having multiple phones in one order takes phones away from others who would want them to keep. I’d want to be considerate to my fellow fanboys/girls.

No carrier information is not on the iPhone. That magic all happens when they scan the box at point of purchase. They just scan the box (multiple bar codes). For in-store orders they just put your name on a box in the back room.
