Order online Pickup in store activation timing question

So I was lucky enough to place two orders for pickup.

One is for my wife, who will not be with me when I pick them up. Once I pick them up, will here current phone remain active, or will it immediately become disabled?

Well if u have her sim and put it in the new phone then yeah.

The current phone will stay live until you activate the new one. So if you just pickup the phones at the store and bring them home still in the box without activation, the old phones will still be on.
