Order Ready for Pick-up on 9/18

I just checked my order and it shows that it is ready for pick. I called the store and the automated order look-up also confirmed that it is ready for pick-up.

Couldn't get anyone on the phone. It just rang out each time I called but I plan to head in that direction anyway after work so we'll see if they will give it to me early.

Doubt it.

Check your email. It's ready now, but you can't pick it up until tomorrow.
 
If the your order is ready for Sept 18th they have to honor it. Thats there typo not yours. I would be demanding it since that is what they sent. Unless they came out with a immediate disclaimer or something. Sept 19th is there launch day , its not yours. I would be down there right now and politely asking for my phone. If that don't work than I would get a little more serious about it and call in the manager.
 
If it wasn't horribly out of my way.

I'd go play dumb. Maybe even play hurt.

But don't expect anything to come from it.

But WWWWAAAY in the wrong direction to my Apple Store vs going home.
 
Yeah....no one at an Apple Store is going to break street date and lose their job....

That's not what it says. It says it's available for pickup, but the email says you can get it starting on the 19th.

It never says "Pick up on the 18th." It just says it's ready for pickup, but that the first pick up day is the 19th.
 
I received the same email, called the number and got an automated system saying my order was ready. I thought that I'd avoid the crowd, was told the phones will not be released till tomorrow at 8am and received a little something for my trouble.

What was the "little something," if you don't mind me asking.
 
I remember for the iPhone 4, I, along with a lot of other folks got theirs a day before the launch who pre-ordered online.
