This happens all the time in the refurb section. Some folks get upgraded video cards and larger internal drives. Nice bonus!

Now waiting on larger screens... Lol. just waiting for someone to come along and say "ordered a 13" MacBook pro to find a 15" MacBook pro got delivered to me! Result!" :D

In the interest of not starting a new thread, I thought I'd post my question in here.

I have ordered a 15' cable to connect Thunderbolt-->HDMI. My question is, does it (the computer) have the capability to send more than just stereo audio (Dolby, 5.1 surround, things like that) along the cable?

Yes it does send audio and video. But I am not sure about it's limitations, for example if any streaming website will go through the cable with full Dolby surround. Or if it works only with DVD Player, iTunes, etc

It'll take what you throw at it, don't worry.

How come you needed a 15 foot cable anyway? Lol.
