iPod touch Ordered 32GB from Amazon, how long does it take to ship?

So I ordered myself a 32GB iPod Touch and Amazon gave me an estimated shipping date of October 5th. Does it really take that long for the iPod Touch to ship out? I used Amazon Prime's one day shipping option but will that matter if they're shipping it out from say China? Thanks for any help.

I ordered sept 3 and mine said it would be shipped by the 14th-21st. it has yet to ship

So glad I canceled my order and got the 64GB model at Apple store yesterday. Sounds like most of the shipping notifications were 8GB models today.

I don't have much of a problem waiting since I have an iPhone 4. I guess it'll be a long wait.
