Magic Mouse is a huge pile of CRAP! I love it functionally but the material used to build it is pure CRAP! Yesterday I accidentally drop it over the Magic Keyboard from a small height (about 4 inches) and its top cover glass/plastic/whatever crappy material that is immediately got a small dent on its edge. But that's not all, it's gotten hair-thin scratches all over its top only from daily usage as well as other dents and scratches from tapping it accidentally against the keyboard's edge. I clean the desk every day to make sure there's no dirt and dust and I always wash my hands before touching and using the mouse and yet that's what it's like after two weeks of daily usage. Pure CRAP. I just ordered another one from the Apple Store because I like the design, functionality and to match the iMac otherwise I'd throw it at Tim Cook's ugly mug. The same happened to the Magic Mouse 2 that came with the iMac I had prior to this one, I've even made a post about it. If you don't mind having a mouse from another brand (unfortunately I do) my advice is: don't buy this overpriced CRAP!!!

If you dislike it that much, try a DIFFERENT mouse.
I suggest Logitech.
