Ordered a T-Mobile iPhone 6+ from Apple

Ok, so I ordered it around 6:30 am EST because I fell asleep at 5 when the apple store was still down....the shipping says 7-10 business days and then says Oct1-Oct6. Is this right? Has anyone ever gotten their phone earlier? I find it hard to believe that the T Mobile models sold out so fast, especially since you couldn't order one from the app store when the actual website was down for 2 hours...

Also, did anyone ever get their phone earlier than predicted? Just asking because, this is ridiculous when it comes to time frames. 7-10 business days, does NOT put you at Oct 1st...

The thing is, I don't think the store was down for two hours. It may have been down for you. It was down for me, but a small enough percentage of users were able to squeeze through by constant refreshing or using the Apple Store app. I used the app and was able to finally get through after constantly clicking the options until they would finally load. All I got was a reservation number, and I have yet to receive the followup email from Apple saying that I can now buy it (Verizon's servers were hammered so they couldn't check eligibility).

I was under the impression that you couldn't buy the T-Mobile version from the apple app store?
 
Some people got in apparently. Still don't know how, but then again I am operating on 1 1/2 hours of sleep.

I got the order in at 5:27 am and I'm in 7-10 day group. I ordered 2 Tmobile contract-free iPhone 6+s. The contract-free T-mobiles were only available at the Apple website. The T-mobile site couldn't be bothered to make the iPhone 6s availalble for pre-order at 3 am (or at 5:15 am when I checked again).
 
They probably make a smaller amount of the 5.5" model due to production yield.

I have the 7-10 days as well for my 64GB T-Mobile (unlocked) version but I think by next week we should know whether we will get it earlier or not.

I was on the forum a lot in the wee hours, and I don't remember anybody saying that they were able to get on the Apple store before 2:30. I would be interested to know if some were able to get in before that. It would help explain why the T-mobile version started out at 3-4 weeks shipping.

My iPhone Plus 128GB Space Gray Verizon went through at about 3:20AM CDT using the Apple Store app. At the time it showed 9/19 shipping.

I got in around 5am CDT and got T-Mobile phone iPhone 6, Space Grey 64GB for delivery on 9/19.
 
In my experience, Apple is pretty conservative with the shipping times and often people are pleasantly surprised with much earlier shipping than what was indicated.

I honestly haven't heard of anyone who ordered the tmobile version that has a 9/19 delivery date. Pretty much everyone is at 7-10 days for shipping. Which means 9-12 days for delivery.
 
Put my 6+ 64 order in via apple.com shortly after 8 pacific.

Shipment 1
Available to ship: 3 - 4 weeks
Delivers: Oct 13 - Oct 20 by Standard Shipping

Mine has a 9/19 delivery date. Ordered around 230a (pacific).

I was able to load the store via Safari on my iPad around 12:10 PDT and my order was finished (tmobile 6+) 5 minutes after, with a 9/19 delivery date. Strangely enough, the iPad Apple Store App was down, Apple.com store was down on my PC on both browsers, and store was down on my Mac via Safari. You could tell the store was down for almost everyone because i had no lag or any trouble at all ordering my phone--it was like any normal day on the store.

Well then, consider yourself one of the privileged few.
I was refreshing over and over from 12AM in Safari and Chrome and Firefox, and didn't see the store come up until 2:30AM

Does anyone truly know if its unlocked? Ppl were saying that we wouldn't be able to preorder the tmobile one, turned out to be false. Ppl are saying they are locked, maybe they aren't?

Just call tmo if they're locked. I unlocked my old phones no problem from Tmo.

Btw mine is 7-10 days as well. Ordered it right when the site was available around 2:30am or so.

I got a pre order for a 6+ 128 tmobile phone before 2:20am, I can tell because I got my confirmation at 220 exactly.

wow, you're lucky last I checked my order was delayed until Oct 1st, now (as I posted in another thread), I can't even the status page of my order anymore thanks to this...
