Ordered iPhone 4 from Apple, July 2nd shipping?

Well I just got done ordering two new iphone 4s from Apple.com, shipping July 2, set to receive on July 6th-8th? I though I would be getting it on the 24th of June like I have been hearing about, guess the plus side is they are coming, hate to wait though.

What gives?

Apple sold out of their initial allocation for the launch next Thursday.

Thanks for the speedy replies, I knew I joined this board for a reason. Wonder if at&t would have made a difference in shipping, no matter, their site says "Pre-orders for iPhone temporarily suspended." The plus side being I got the two I needed, now the waiting game.

Doubt it. AT&T sold out faster then Apple did.
