Carrier Ordered iPhone X on new line I won't need

Can someone help me figure this out?

I've had Verizon for a while 3 lines

Line 1 - Mine on 2 year contract up on 9/28/2018 iPhone 7+
Line 2 - Wife's just VZW payments for her iPhone 7+ ordered iPhone X to be delivered 11/3
Line 3 - Mom's iPhone 6 off contract
Line 4 - Ordered to w/ iPhone X for me on VZW ordered at the same time as line 2 charged card but no shipping info yet has always said to ship by 11/3

I don't need the 4th line but it nothing else was working, I rather not have to pay for the 4th line if I don't have to but I also don't want to cancel and not get my launch day iPhone X.

Any ideas?

Will VZW let me cancel Line 4 and transfer the payments to line 1 or 2 after I have the phone in hand?

or maybe port line 3's number to a prepaid and port it back to Line 4 using my iPhone 7+? Line 3 is due for an upgrade but I don't want to take out a whole phone payment on it

1. Get Line 4 iPhone X on 11/3
2. Move that Phone to line 1
3. Move iPhone 6 on Line 3 to line 4 (may need to change phone number)
4. Cancel Line 3
5. Sell the 7+ and use it to pay off the contract for Line 1
After all is said and done, you will still have 3 lines and line 1 will have an upgrade available (since you brought in a phone) and line 4 will have the iphone X monthly payments.
Or you could give mom the 7+ (and continue to pay on it) and sell the 6 (and use that money to pay off some of the 7+)
