Ordered Iphone5 for my brother on my account

Hey guys I have a 4s that I am keeping and I am ordering the Iphone 5 for my brother who didn't have an upgrade available. Do I just give him the phone when I receive it or do I need to do anything with it first?

If you ordered the phone from Apple, you can just give him it without needing to do anything. He can then set it up as he'd like.
