So I took advantage of the Cashback Live rebate thing and ordered a 2.0Ghz Macbook NIB for 200 off list. I'm not worried about being scammed or anything;just about if there is an issue. At any rate, if there is an issue with it when i open it up and power it on, Apple should treat me like any other normal Apple customer, right? It is sealed, so if there is a pixel problem or a more serious problem I should have as much chance as anyone else, correct?

I guess I am looking for a little peace of mind until it gets here.

How is Apple going to know if you got it sealed or opened? They don't care. All you have to do is register it. Then you get the same service as someone who bought one in an Apple store. Not to mention, as with any new product, they know it's only been out for a few days, so it's not like they have to determine whether it's still under warranty. ALL alu macbooks are still under warranty.
