Ordered MBP 2.4 GHz i5 with high-res anti-glare

I ordered the base model 15" MBP with the high-res anti-glare
screen yesterday (Monday) online at apple.com.

I live in the midwestern United States.

How long will it take for the computer to arrive?

I didn't get expedited shipping.

When do people think I can expect my computer to arrive?

they should've given you an estimated shipping time for your laptop..check your receipt and i'm sure they'll be emailing you shipping numbers soon

I ordered mine today (same config. as you + 7200 RPM 500gb drive) and it's supposed to get here anytime between this wednesday and next monday (which would suck because I wanted to install everything this weekend).

Anyone have a faster-than-expected shipping experience with these things?

i ordered mine (15" 2.4 i5 w/ 500GB @ 7200 rpm and HR glossy screen) yesterday morning and i'm expected to get it next week friday at the earliest and i live in florida.

you can see when your laptop is expected on the order acknowledgement e-mail you received.

I did get a Fedex tracking number from Apple and it shows an
expected delivery date of Monday next week.

DAMN. I hope it gets here faster than that!

I PRAY that it gets here by Friday, or even Saturday at the latest.

I don't know if I can wait until Monday!

My laptop is now in Anchorage, AK.

I'm hoping Sarah Palin or her crazy family doesn't mess
with my laptop while it's sitting there.

I can't WAIT for this machine to arrive.

Why the **** doesn't Apple sell other than the base models
in store?

My laptop is now in Indianapolis.

Not sure why Fedex routed it to Indianapolis instead of Denver.

Out of idle curiosity, does anybody know of a good map on the paths
that people's machines have traveled from China via Fedex?
