I ordered my MBP last Friday the 21st. Waiting until Snow Leopard to come out was the last thing on my mind, as I need it for law school and it already started. However, it seemed to take a long time for Apple to finally ship it out. The MBP didn't actually ship until the 26th, and it isn't expected to arrive until next Monday the 31st.

I usually wait until after updates like this to order equipment, so I have no knowledge if Apple will normally ship something like this with the new OS, since I won't receive it until after the release date.

Do you think Snow Leopard will be pre-installed on my MBP?

I thought it was $29.

Regular upgrade is $29 but you qualify for the Up-To-Date upgrade which is $10. Just google and you'll find the link to order it. If you bought your machine from Apple you don't even have to send in a receipt. Just enter in your serial and CC#.
