iPod Ordered my 2G shuffle! Anyone else?

Well I just decided to order a second generation shuffle...and did!
Hopefully it will ship in early October:rolleyes:

Did anyone else?

EDIT: Estimated Ship Date: October 31st
Estimated Delivery: November 7th

...that's way too long :(

I haven't ordered but I'm thinking about it.

Your shipping time is probably not correct. They're just giving you the lastest that it could possibly ship. I'm sure it will ship much sooner.
 
just ordered mine, i have the same shipping dates as you

Yea...I assumed the same thing...they usually always overestimate shipping.

They have the nanos in store right now, at least at the one near me. They didn't have the new iPods in yet, and the pricing on the 30 and 60 was still 300/400. go get one from the store, if there is one close to you...

There aren't any shuffles in the stores yet. Only nanos and new videos. The shuffles arent available anywhere until October.

I really want one, the funds on in place, but its such a long wait, so I think I'll put the cash towards a Nano, and buy the shuffle once its on store selves

But it's cold! 7.5℃ and it was 30℃ last week.. it even snowed a bit a few nights ago.
 
When looking at iPod Hifi, it says it is compatible with 2nd gen Shuffle's. Do they beside's the audio thingy have a tiny dock connector? Doesn't look like that in the QT VR? I know the Hifi has an aux in, but then they should also write it compatible with Shuffle 1st gen.:confused:
