Ordered my iPhone 5s on September 25th.

It says, Friday the 25th (which is today) - ZhengZhou, China..... so no, it would not seem to have left china. 
Apple most likely shipped them separately in case they became available at separate times.
I feel bad for people who waited that long to get them.
I used an iPhone tracking website to see which models were in stock at apple stores around me. Stores were getting new stock every day or two. I only waited 2 days to find the color and model I wanted.
Anyways, glad you are finally getting your phone!!
