I preordered my M5 iPad with the nano texture glass by accident! Am I going to want to take it right in and exchange it? I use it mostly indoors.

I use matte screen protectors on my iPhone/iPads - and love the nano texture on my Apple Studio Display that I use indoors all day long (to type this).

Unless $ is a consideration, I'd encourage you to keep it - even indoors.

If I had $, I'd have an iPad with it. Till then an iCarez Matte screen protector sits on my iPhone/iPad. :D

I did some research on it and concerns seem to be reduced saturation and blacks and really hard to keep it clean?

I find it's easier to keep clean because it doesn't show dust/dirt as much as a glossy screen does.

One big advantage of my iCarez matte screen protectors - lack of fingerprints on glossy screens. Makes using the iPad/iPhone so much more amazing. That reason alone is worth it.

Easy to clean imo - just a slightly wet t-shirt and it cleans easier than a glossy screen.

The reason why it's harder to keep clean is that using cleaning liquid is not recommended. I use Whoosh! and while I have the polishing cloth, I have tried to clean my (non nano) iPads with just that and it's much harder than using liquid especially when it's more than just fingerprints (I use my iPad in the kitchen often).

Well that’s kinda moot because I already bought it lol. The decision is whether or not to open it and try it or just return.

I compared both screens in-store last year, and--while the visual fidelity of the Nano Screen was quite nice--the bump to 1TB+ (and dent to my wallet (sp. because of my limited use-case)) didn't sway me.

IMHO . . . if the $¥£€ is not a concern, keep it :)

If you’re okay with not having that $100, keep the nano. I am in love with the nano on my M4 and ordered the same thing for the M5. I want nano on everything now

I intentionally ordered it on mine and I greatly prefer it, even though I also mostly use it indoors. It eliminates reflections from overhead lights and from nearby windows, which I appreciate, and I prefer the texture when using the Pencil. But if you live in a place with a decent evaluation/return policy, you might as well give it a shot and see if you like it.
