Just pulled the trigger on a 42mm S2 stainless from Apple's refurb store. Been debating which direction to go since the announcements (currently S0 space gray). I decided that having the nicer screen and case are more important to me than cellular connectivity, and that the aluminum Series 3 without cellular felt like more of a lateral move. Going all the way up to S3 stainless would have been at least $200 more.

If the reviews show the S3 to be substantially better I can always return. But for me the S2 stainless hits a sweet spot currently if you don't care about LTE.

And like any new Apple product, you have 14 days to return it and it does have an attached one year full warranty behind it.

I just bought a silver sport series 2 from best buy brand new for $319. I was going to get the series 3, bur i dont want or need lte, and with the $40 I saved from going with series 2, I spent $10 more and got apple care on it. The waterproofing was the big feature for me and series 2 has that.
