Ordered RMBP, can i use the lion license on my early 08 MBP?

I ordered my RMBP (2.6/512/16) about 6:30pm GMT monday. Got the 2-3 week wait

anyway, i currently am using an Early 2008 non-unibody 15" macbook pro w/snow leopard.

I know the RMBP comes with lion, is there any way i can make an install usb drive and upgrade my current MBP?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Currently the new MBPs have a special build of Lion that only works with those Macs. Anyway the license is OEM so you're only supposed to use it on the new machine.
