So if i ordered a refurbished macbook pro off the apple.com website
2.5ghz 512VRAM glossy $1999
and it says it ships within 24 hours...
how long including that 24 hours in estimation will it take to get to my house?

And they won't ship until at least tomorrow. Like rolex54 asked, what shipping speed did you choose?

So it's "in-stock" time + shipping preparation time + shipping speed time. Will take at least a day or 2 before it ships and then depends on the speed you chose from 1 day to a week.

It was $23 in Canada

Don't forget that you can log into your account in the Apple online store- under Order Details it will show expected ship date info and such (delivery method selected, etc.), and give you a chance to change the shipping method if it has not shipped yet.
