Ordering iPhone 5S online delivery

Hello!

I am planning on ordering the 32GB 5S online right at 2:01AM central time. What are my shipping options? How long does it usually take to arrive?

Let me know...Thanks!
 
Can't you order at midnight and schedule it for a in-store pickup the same day?

I asked if that is something I can do and they said 'ordering online is your best bet'. So perhaps the person I spoke to was an idiot but I didn't feel so confident in their response.

I'll order it online at midnight and then pickup another one at the store that same morning. If I get the one in the morning I'll cancel the online order that same day.

I keep seeing this but what happens to your eligibility?
Once you order at midnight, you just commited to a two year contract.
Now, the next day, you walk into a store and they have a phone in stock.
You sign up for another contract and hope they cancel the first?
 
No you can't pick up only delivery, and it's probebly 3-5 days, if you could pick up the phone at the store I don't think anyone would be standing in line.
 
We will have a pretty good idea of the supply and demand here in about 30 mins once Asia can order. I certainly hope its not a 4-6 weeks delivery due to limited supply I am hearing rumors of.

I don't give a **** about contracts. I pay for the phone in full. Gonna cost me $700 per phone after tax.

If you wait more than a year to get the latest Apple gadget you don't belong here. This place is for the extreme Apple addicts. :)

Agreed, not a good idea bc your upgrade is used on the online order. Takes a while to get your upgrade back, if you are even able to cancel the online order in time. Would suck being in the store with a phone and no upgrade to use.
 
I can guarantee many will try to order a phone at 12:01 am and will get them at the stores and turn around and cancel the online order if you order at 12:10 am in it says 2 to 3 weeks that could move up after 1000s of orders are canceled.

Yeah, it totally works if you are paying for the full phone.
But I see others on here with your plan expecting to use the contract price.
They will be in for a rude awakening when it shows no eligibilty at the counter.

I want a silver 64GB so I think my only option is to order online at 3AM anyway.

The shipping time will depend on the volume of iPhones being sold. When you place the order, when you get to the shipping section, it will tell you the expected delivery date.

Do you have any additional questions that I may answer for you today?

Is there a chance it will be available for in store pickup?

When you get the the same section, if that option is there then you can select it.

Do you have any outlook on whether it will be?

I truly couldn't say.

The orders went live in Australia and Asia already? Doesn't that put those of us in the US at a disadvantage since we have to wait until 12:01am PST? How is that fair?

Apple likely allocates certain stock to Australia, Asia, and the U.S. So theoretically, they aren't touching U.S. stock. That's my theory at least.
