ordering new MP from 3rd party?

anybody gonna go through macmall or something like that? if i can save the tax (which i'll get charged from the apple site since there's an apple store near here) i'd like to, but cripes, how long is that gonna take, i wonder?

MacMall lists them as ready to ship in 1-2 days which probably means you're looking at getting it next thursday if you were to order it now.

that's weird, when i go there it says to call....
