ordering online or in store

are there any advantages or disadvantages ordering a mba 11' i7 online or to pick it up in a store as far as the following concerns:
- getting a fresh from production model
- return process if anything is not to satisfaction (pixel, heat etc.)

any other advantages/disadvantage to buy it one way over another?

If they have them in store that's the quickest and easiest way. Returns are also faster since you can just return it to the same store. The main reason to order online is to get a configuration that isn't in the store. For example, the 11" Core i7 with the 128GB drive might not be common in stores. Most stores have the base models, and the top of the line (Core i7 256GB 11" and 13").

Get it in store (quick and instant vs waiting for it to ship). You can also exchange / return if there's any defects more conveniently, provided there is an apple store nearby your area.
